The 2018 Diagram Prize Winner is Boiling H2O...

As I assumed a few weeks ago the Joy of Water Boiling did well, so well in fact that it won this year's Diagram Prize for the Oddest Book Title of the Year.
The Winning Title...

It garnered 56% of the votes.

If you have title suggestions for next year's Diagram prize you will find the details of how to do so at the end of this Bookseller article.

Don't forget you can nominate your own odd book title- if you think it has that much oddity... :D

Thanks for sharing the result, Carol. A good title can be the bait to attract a passing reader. I’m not sure Joy of Boiling Water does that for me.

Bea- very true, I've often picked up a book because the title has attracted my attention. As I understood it, the rest of the winning title is in German. I'm of the age when French was the only other language offered. :-)

56%? Barely a majority...

Julia- but still a majority as far as the organisers are concerned. :D

Wonder what the book is like, Carol!

Rosemary- I believe it's a cook book of a sort, but in German.
