Update on Woman's Own Issue...

Just seen good news on Womag's blog that Woman's Own have sensibly decided to award their proposed short story winner, for their Summer Special,  a monetary prize.

Hopefully the publicity that this incident received will put off any other magazines or organisations considering going down this route- well we can hope...

    It still sounds like they can publish as many entries as they like for just £200.

    Keith, I've seen information that suggests they will be doing FBSR and not taking all rights. Which is much better.

    You're right, Rosemary. It's been good to see so many writers stand up and say that it was wrong, and fortunately WO have acted fairly quickly in response.
